Hundred plants dedicated to Mother Nature

The project ‘Green Force’ organized by AIESEC organization of the University of Kelaniya, in collaboration with the project ‘Thuru Kepakaru’ successfully held on 09.08.2023 focusing on Sapugaskanda Sobhitha Vidyalaya and Dharmaraja Collage with the participation of the principals, teachers, and students of those particular schools, S-lon and Newsfirst joined hands to succeed this project.
A hundred plants were planted by the school students in these particular two schools through this project. Also, the students were awarded valuable certificates with the intention of motivating them to environmental conservation. The plants that the school children implanted will be monitored through the mobile app ‘Thuru Kepakaru’ constantly.
